![]() The hardest part of Total War games is the first 50 turns or so, after that you've basically won. You can occasionally beg money out of them. The anti-player bias mechanics make this less important, but it's still better than having the greenskins right next to your capitol eating mushrooms and pooping. Having someone friendly on your borders means that there's a buffer between you and unfriendly people.Buying provinces is much less OP, but occasionally you need to do it.In the early to middgame, having too much land is a detriment (even ignoring RoC's BS rifts), so this gives a sage way toe xpand. You give sell land you can't defend to people who you think can defend it, don't get the great power penalty for having too much land, and confederate them later to get the land back (or just buy it back, or backstab them, or whatever. Not amazing since your lords can't buff them, but useful for some factions (in particular factions that can't get artillery getting artillery from factions that can). ![]() I mean come on with the experience you guys have in this game type you'd think by now you could code an ai to actually make the game fun and interesting instead of just anti player. Do you not think its about time the warhammer tw3 devs stopped being lazy and actually made an ai that doesnt just dogpile the player. Whats the point in having 'diplomacy' when it does literally nothing, i mean literally nothing, the only thing its good for is trade, everything else is pointless.
